RISK: Creative Action in Political Culture curated by Ele Carpenter at The Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow. Also part of Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Visual Art (21 April – 2 May 2005)

“RISK supports public discourse about the political and social contribution of art practice and creative thinking to imagine and realise how we want things to be. The artworks embrace complexity and chaos rather than quick fix answers or political solutions.

The RISK exhibition will present social actions and processes, political statements and questions, films, participatory computer based works, research material, alternative trade systems, live performance, media lab, discussion forums, art objects and more.”

Over 30 artists including: Platform, Oliver Ressler & David Thorne, Yes Man, Variant, The Atlas Group.
