4 July 2003 / American Independence Day
Location: M62 from Liverpool to Hull & Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Hull city centres.

In the late 1800’s there was a mass migration of Northern Europeans to America through the Transpennine region. The émigrés sought a new life in the USA, ‘the land of civil and religious liberty’.

Supposing that today in 2003, life in the USA is so tough that the people of America want to give up and get out.

Where would they go in search of economic, political or cultural asylum? Will we witness a mass migration of Americans to Northern Europe?

This ‘ideological conjecture’ will travel from Liverpool to Hull as livery on a wagon driven by the artists. They will be stopping off in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Hull city centres.

For further information about what times the supposition will get to your city and press information contact Hewitt & Jordan.
